I'm playing, under name "Sora". :V

so i think i'm "patching" right now, but is this patch really supposed to be a few GBs large?

The patch is really big. I don't think they updated the client on the site(since day 1), so it has a lot things to patch. No, there isn't a manual patch.

hmm.. that blows. i'll try again tomorrow using campus connection and see if it works better. also, am i supposed to apply the english mod before or after the patch, or does it not matter?

After patch since patching means replacing files. Then check the "most recent version" of English mod and use it.

done patching! anyone know how to fix this? my computer can read japanese just fine though.

Is the unicode in jp?
And you enter the player id number. Not ign.

ohhh gotcha. the servers just went down for maintenance though =[
now ill try fixing that unicode problem.

What patch?

well i patched the game earlier today, added english mod, and everything was fine. i could restart the client, and no problems.
i just restarted my computer for that non-unicode thing, and now the setting screen works now. but now it wants to recheck + repatch my client, as if i didn't patch it at all.

Well it updates weekly on Tuesdays and you probably had to re-update it again. lol

Also you enter the ID of the person who you invited when you click to create character. :V

even though i haven't created a character, i set my name to be YumA'Tron. named after my sexy vending machine in Dragon Nest.

there's a new English patch out (Oct 3).

Subclasses (october patch part 1) next week.

Fighters are way more OP than hunters! They can seriously clear the banther brothers two times faster! Wtfman! So glad that I'm maining daggers.

I'm like the only hunter/fighter ;_;
