To be visible on a friend's friendlist, you must be logged into the same server.
I think we should all just log onto East server since that's the original and hence better choice.
You can still enter game rooms hosted on West server while logged into East server and vice versa.
Yes, this means that if I'm on East and you're on West, we can be in the same room and still not show up as offline on each other's friend lists.
Also, everyone log into east so I can invite you to the actual clan.

The ping in east server and west server are the exact same for me.

Well, the East Coast is unplayable for me, but the West Coast is just KDR killing.

I'll probably end up just playing on the Australian servers in the end. It's just too laggy otherwise.

Once everyone is added to the clan, it probably doesn't matter if you play on east/west as long as you can play in the same room.

That seems like a bug they'll fix later on anyway. I don't think picking a server is necessary.
