Mostly for general school work but I want something that can play games if I ever end up having long breaks between classes or one gets canceled for the day or something.

Weight and size are no issue to me. I'm not some faggot that's going to complain about carrying around 7 pounds like most people seem to.

Unless someone has any more suggestions I'm going with the first one iggy suggested for the better screen.

I haven't had any complaints with my Sager laptop.

They're very sturdily built, but the laptop you linked in the OP seems to be a bit better in terms of specs.

Again, I suppose the drawback is that Acers aren't good with heat, but personally I would go with the Acer.

Asus or bust. but i'm biased ofc, since i like the design of my lappy.
my laptop is stupidly heavy for a 14in screener, but weight isn't usually a bad thing for laptop performance.
