FRAPS settings for Combat Arms
Last time I made a video,
the quality was rubbish, the resolution was pretty fucked up and the
file was 2 gigabytes. So clearly I'm doing it wrong. So considering the
number of you with decent videos in this clan I figured it would be a
good idea to ask about the fraps settings you guys use and the kind of things
you do with Vegas to make it look good (i.e. smooth, and without any distortion). I checked out some guides and I
was wondering whether this guy actually knows what he is doing?
Also, does anyone here use Premiere Pro? Or does everyone use Vegas?

You have to render it first using Vegas or some other shit.

You must render it in vegas first. Fraps doesn't record full resolution with half-size. Or something.

Also you have to render it and I'm sure you can find some vids on rendering it and watnot(also a program like Sony Vegas more or less). I'm dicking with the settings on videos at this point since lol.

Re: FRAPS settings for Combat Arms
Fraps isn't exactly difficult to use....
use either 30 fps or 60 fps; half-screen or fullscreen...
to encode the Fraps file directly, just start from Step 3 in my quality-fag guide (but not THAT quality fag because of CRF 20) https://desumatch.forumotion.com/t974-encoding-guide

Re: FRAPS settings for Combat Arms
Render it in either vegas, or windows movie maker will work just as well, but there won't be as many fancy effects you can add. Once you do this you can delete the origin file assuming it was pieced together accurately. On a side note, in order to get WMM in win7 you need to download windows live essentials.

Clearly I phrased this wrong, since I know and do everything you guys have been saying. I am asking what settings do you use when you render it with Vegas?

No it's not, it's 10.30pm of the 11th. Use the right timezone.
