Lag & other annoying shit

1. I open REACTOR and tried to go on AVA like usual, except when I click GAME START, an error message displays "ava.exe has stopped responding."
2. I restart the computer in hopes of fixing this issue.
3. Now REACTOR simply says I do not have AVA installed and asks me to download it.
4. I go on Steam and tried to start AVA from there
5. Steam's mini-REACTOR launcher pops up and I tried to click the GAME START with no response. No crashes nor error messages, the button simply does nothing.

I've already encountered this issue one time in the afternoon, and I fixed it by reinstalling AVA through a Steam backup (and it forced me to take 2 hours to update even though I have the latest version of AVA back up, why is that?).
I do not wish to reinstall AVA every time I want to play it, and if anyone is in the same boat, please reply in this thread.

I remember that your gfx card was more than enough to fraps at a decent FPS.

I can get around 40 fps recording in AVA, but a wild lag spike appears and I drop to ~4 fps for no apparent reason. Sometimes it recovers, sometimes I'm forced to stop recording. It's strange.

Give a SS of the display tab.

Your computer should be fine. Are you frapsing full size? I would imagine that you'd be able to manage 70fps half size with your computer...

I can browse a lot of japanese sites no problem but this one is just niggers. I have japanese language pack (first thing I did when I got new laptop, set up keyboards lul)

I didn't see the encoding option but I got it fixed.

Firefox -> Web Developer -> Character Encoding -> Auto Detect -> Change (off) to Japanese

Pretty sure you have a different version of Firefox than me.
This is what I had to do to fix the page:
Right click on page and choose View Page Source
Click View->Character Encoding->Click Japanese(Shift_JIS)
Refresh Page

Currently using Chrome, it loads combatarmsforum and YouTube fine, but even worse with Nexon forums (won't even load the board index, where Firefox would stop loading threads that I open).

Your system should run it fine. I used to lag A LOT with fraps, but not anymore for some reason. And I think you have similar specs to Hitler's...

Some computers run fraps with games flawlessly with seemingly lower specs, and some computers run fraps with games horridly with higher specs. I'm not sure why, but it might have to do with write speed.

Recording to SSD: 60 FPS smooth, only lag when shit gets intense
Recording to External drive [has way more space]: 60 FPS semi-smooth, lag a bit when there's more than a couple of targets shooting and when fraps has to split the video to save space

I'm not liking the way Windows 8 looks. ( I don't mean literally)

Well an external HDD would be slower than an internal one. Unless its USB 3.0 or some other fast connection.

The windows 7 shit came back, even after I disabled all updates. No idea how it did so.

Normally I record rather smoothly, but there are lag SPIKES which is the problem.
