The chick who voiced Kotomi in engrish is voicing Kanade. I'll tell you this the VA wasn't good at all. She couldn't fit the right emotion for Kotomi (quiet and somewhat depressed). I don't want to watch dub...I don't want to watch dub...

Probably. But I'm most likely going to drop during episode 1. There's no way an engrish person can do a better job than hanachan.

There probably going to butcher all the character's voices with the dub.

Yuri's VA doesn't fit at all. She voiced Ryou Fujibayashi (Clannad) and Ayu Tsukimiya (Kanon). Did not fit at all....

I think I'm going to cry as soon as they start talking...

if it was Kyou, fine. but Ryou O_o

I had some extra PSN munies so im downloading ep. 1, so it gunna take a few minutes

so.... Its not earshattering horrible.

Kanade's VA is way to monotone.

Yuri's is way to obnoxious

Otonashi's is like eh, cant really complain.

and Fujimaki sounds black

most of the others were pretty bad.

the only other notable one is Shiina. She was actually not half bad.

They used the Japanese sining for GirlsDeMo. Iwase is pretty good, Yusa sounds meh.

Overall I guess watch it if you are busy and dont have time to read subs, and one other interesting bit of info I found on Wikipedia,Most of the VA have some role in Clannad and the VA for Fujimaki and the VA for Kanade are engaged.
Also a lot of the phrases are switched (Derp) and there are more cussing, and other things that are weird, like they say obliterated instead of what they say in the Japanese version.

Sounds like shit....

when i saw Yui, i was hoping for LiSA. but oh well, Vocaloid 3 will probably sound spectacular.

I was talking about in general. English VA's cant match up in almost any anime.

SOMEBODY TEACH ORIGINAL VAs TO LEARN ENGRISH.

English simply isnt moe enough

it would be amazing if they came out with some OVA's that filled in character's pasts, and how they came to terms with their deaths in the afterlife leading to them ultimately disappearing from the after life. That way it wouldn't break the canon, and they don't have to dedicate another season to a story that's already ended.

But they aren't, so I'm going to continue to not like this series. It was a very entertaining concept and had some good characters, but it could have been so much better.

- very likable characters
- amazing music. frown on me all you want, but i cant stress this enough.
