Re: Tpg-1 vs. M-200?
TPG-1 has better draw speed and firing rate. But I heard it has a big drop-off dmg. Same scope as the L96A1.
M-200 tank less. But the scope is horredous...
It's all about preference.

As once said by Hitler, M200 is excellent for quickscoping but MUCH too heavy to be a good OMA sniper. TPG-1 is a quickscoping sniper. There's other weapons you can use to engage long range.

M200 is cheaper but heavier with a diffrent scope.
Their both good for shotgun sniping.

You're right, I confused the price with the DSR. x.x

Re: Tpg-1 vs. M-200?
Point of clarification, Hitler refers to me.Solace wrote:As once said by Hitler, M200 is excellent for quickscoping but MUCH too heavy to be a good OMA sniper. TPG-1 is a quickscoping sniper. There's other weapons you can use to engage long range.
The word censor is set up to change my name to Hitler :<
And yeah, TPG is most excellent for quickscoping due to its fast scope speed (relative to the L96), high portability, and fast draw rate.
M200... if you have speed gear, M200 is pretty much unstoppable in junk flea because it scopes in SO FREAKING QUICKLY AAAAA

G36E is the major one.Sharpshooter wrote:What other sniper rifles?Solace wrote:As once said by Hitler, M200 is excellent for quickscoping but MUCH too heavy to be a good OMA sniper. TPG-1 is a quickscoping sniper. There's other weapons you can use to engage long range.
As for sniper rifles, there's the DSR and TRG (both overpowered by CA standards, but balanced by most other FPS standards lolwut).
M107 is a decent camping rifle, but I dislike it because it's really heavy and the in-scope sensitivity is low (I'm a dragscoper)
Re: Tpg-1 vs. M-200?
If you're just flat-out sniping, as in taking out long range targets, then TPG-1 is easily better simply because of accuracy.
Beyond that it's personal choice.

Re: Tpg-1 vs. M-200?
TPG is overpowered.
I have to quickswitch, merely based off of habit, so the M200 sucks for me due to the slow draw speed, but I like how it reacts in-scope and its accuracy. Low spread when quickscoping. Its a bit better for long range as well.

Re: Tpg-1 vs. M-200?
I used to use the GP TPG a lot, but I didn't like the high accuracy because I'm used to dragscoping.
L9 and M200 are fine with me, the TPG is good if you have good control so you don't have "mouse shake" like I do.

Re: Tpg-1 vs. M-200?
Try getting used to a lower sensitivity. Most people that have "mouse shake" as you say are usually playing on a fairly high sensitivity and should try to become adjusted to a lower level.ʎɐƃ sı ʞıɹǝ wrote:I used to use the GP TPG a lot, but I didn't like the high accuracy because I'm used to dragscoping.

Even though a lot of gaming mouses boast how high their sensitivity is, most good players in all fps games play on very low sensitivity. They learn to move their mouse a lot for fast movements, and can be minisculy accurate in small movements.
Re: Tpg-1 vs. M-200?
Wait, but for long-range sniping, the tpg is not good right? Cause it has high dropoff? I would go for m-200 because of long range and decent quickscoping?

Re: Tpg-1 vs. M-200?
The "high damage dropoff" doesn't apply unless you're playing in Kill Creek or shooting from one corner of Costa Recon to another.Sharpshooter wrote:Wait, but for long-range sniping, the tpg is not good right? In the end, it's your choice what to use.

Re: Tpg-1 vs. M-200?
I have my games with the m200 where I rape absolute shit, and others where I miss everything. I'm more consistent with the tpg usually.
^Oma situations btw

Re: Tpg-1 vs. M-200?
i don't want to buy both. So, as a sniper that plays in junk flea oma, and plays in kill creek, should I get m-200? Or just tpg-1? One clan member told me that the huge damage dropoff is VERY noticeable with tpg-1 in kill creek. So...is this true?
Wait, is the accuracy on the m-200 like the dreaded l96a1 accuracy?

Re: Tpg-1 vs. M-200?
Depends on what kind of sniper you are in Kill Creek.
Do you rush or camp?
Rush - TPG.
Camp - M-200
And no, the M-200 will hit your target 4/5 times.

What is your preferred way on using a SR? Do you use it like its a shotgun or use like a wheel SR?

Again it's preference. Most if not all bolt action snipers seem to have decent enough accuracy to take out your average target, so I generally base my decision on the quickscoping aspect of the gun. As of right now, I'm in a m200 Ghille mood :O
Re: Tpg-1 vs. M-200?
i'll go with tpg then. Cause, hitting a target is better than not hitting them at all.
