The first part was really good with both editing and frags IMO. Everything else just seemed like gameplay with music in the back.

He didn't try on it, but I still always like his stuff. He's a different sort of editor.

my favorite of the 3 really big montages this month was probably Requiem. If I had to make a list, it would be

3) The Pubstar: this was kind of disappointing compared to how badass the teaser video was. The frags weren't as satisfying, but el1x said before he released that it wouldn't be standard accolade stuff. The edit was unique too because of how minimal it was, but the really cool part about the Pubstar is el1x's character as the community troll who still makes awesome montages.

2) Closure: I liked Closure's editing even better than I liked the Pubstar's or Requiem's, and his choice in music was almost as good as el1x's. The clips were also more exciting and fun than the Pubstar ones. The only reason I didn't like this one the best is because it didn't have the same "effect" on me as El1x's or Gunz's montages. I think this is because El1x and Azimer are both really notable in the community on the whole (El1x = troll, Azimer WAGL-P player) and while Atrocity is an awesome player too, he doesn't "play himself up" as much as the other two do, so it's not as cool.

1) Requiem was my least favorite in terms of editing, but I've never been the hugest fan of all of Azimer's edits. Still excellent looking, but not my speed. However, the clips in this one are incredible. They're all against good players but are still really awesome to see without considering who he's playing against. When you take into account that some of these are from casted matches, they get launched into God-Tier clip status.

All in all probably the best month in montages I've seen since I started playing.
